Would you like to share your scientific comics with other young
scientists, we would love to publish them on our webpage under your name or as
anonymous.
2) We are searching for a mascot idea.
The “Young ISHAM” hasn’t got a mascot until now; we want YOU do send us
your ideas, scanned drawn comic, photoshop image or photo. Deadline is the 30th of January 2010. Please send your drafts to young.isham@gmail.com under
the subject “mascot”. The winner of the mascot competition will win 2 years of
free membership.

3) You want
to join ’Young ISHAM’, but money is scarce?
Don’t worry! We understand that especially for young scientist it may be difficult to afford the subscription fee, a special fund (The Carolyn Halden Fund) exists to
provide member's subscriptions for one or two years. Students and scientist
from developing countries will be supported in first line. Just write a mail explaining
why you would like to be supported to the General Secretary (p.donnelly@usa.net)
of ISHAM.
